Mummy's back!

So, at last! I'm back! I do have to admit I forgot all about my blog, what with little baby nugget coming along! Nugget us finally here and we named her Orla Gilly, and she is far more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! She's now five weeks old and learning fast and her little personality is coming through now! We are snuggling as we speak, and I can't bear to take my eyes off her! This blog today is just a mini update while I see how to blog through my iPod touch, and my battery is low, but I will be back I hope (if I remember!) xox

Pop babydoll

Ok so i work at a clothes shop named pop boutique in liverpool which stocks vintage and retro clothing. I love my job. And its my ultimate favourite place to shop which i can do whilst i'm working! Perfect. This week has been especially exciting by the fact we got a dress in called the pop babydoll (pop items are a newly made item that is influenced by a vintage style or fabric ). What is great about this dress is that it's only £18 (urban outfitters also stock our product but it will be double the price there) and is extremely flattering. And it also fits my baby bump but will still look great when Nugget is out in the real world too! No maternity tops for me! This is a sensible solution to the maternity wardrobe dilemma- why spend loads of money on items you can't wear again?! I used this dress in lorens photoshoot that's a previous post. Its the dress in the shots in the park. This one my lovely make up artist and stylist friend emma bought because the fabric was so gorgeous! A lovely summery floral print. I have bought myself one and roped my lovely husband to buy me another three for my birthday! But i have to wait for those! Boo :( Haha. They will be great summer wear and easy for me to get ready when baby Nugget is here and demanding all my attention. Plus they will look great with cardis and thick tights and boots in the autumn! photoshoot for loren

Phewee we managed to do loren's photoshoot at last today, and thankfully the weather decided to show us a little spring in it's step! Yesterday was miserable and rainy but luckily today it was warm and a little sunny when we decided to do some pics in the park! I'm currently going through the pics now and doing a little editing. Loren was a lovely model and definately the tallest model I've ever taken pics of- she's a leggy 6ft 1! And she's still growing cos she's fifteen! So I'm off now to concentrate on the photos! xox
